I have always wondered why many of your fashion designers, make up artist, hair stylist, and producers are gay. Is it gay men and women have a certain eye for fashion that regular heterosexual people don't?

Skinny Jeans

The question I got is who created the style that allowed young men to wear jeans that are so tight on their ass and thighs that they can't even pull up their pants. The fashion culture has pushed the boundaries with the skinny jeans craze. Is this a low key way of slipping femine qualities into men's fashion?

unattractive and hella skinny. Most women in the black community don't have skinny legs or no asses. They got a tone of ass and they have well defined legs that go with their bodies.

I have followed some of the modeling events that come on TV like Rip the Run Way and host of other shows. I have not really seen any women who really represent black women in a true light of how they are truly shaped, or their real beauty for that matter. Can we please get an good balance of all women of color to represent the modeling world?

Why Are Most Designers Asian or White

Are most mainstream popular fashion designers Asian and White? I have not noticed any top fashion designers in the fashion industry to be African American. Most of your favorite designer clothes are by white Caucasian males,females, or Asian Designers. Ralph Lauren, Anna Sui, Tommy Hilfiger, Polo, and many others dominate the world of fashion without question. Are there any black top notch main stream fashion designers who are not in the hip hop culture that is glorified among his or her white or Caucasian counter parts?

Macy's is a place that houses most of the mainstream clothes you see on radio and TV. I have never seen any black fashion designers that were the prefered choice when it came to clothes, purses, or perfume.

Russell started with Phat Farm now he has moved on to his newest venture called the Argyle Culture. I wrote a blog about hip hop fashion designers and are they respected in the world of fashion. I would have to say that Russell Simmons is probably the only guy whose fashion line is respected in the white world of fashion designers like Ralph Lauren, Polo, and Tommy Hilfiger. Argyle is for the casual man who wants to still be apart of the hip hop culture, but yet still look classy with button down shirts and blazers etc.
