You have very valid point. I believe it has a lot to do with what the media chooses to expose to the public and as long as we as a society continue to buy into it's semiotics thinking that European or Asian designers are top of the line, then it will continue to be a struggle for even the most talented African American designer to be accepted into the high fashion world. Great post.
